Axminster crew boosts charity funds with a car wash outside Tesco
Firefighters at Axminster got busy with their buckets – and raised a cool £700 for charity.
They were outside Tesco supermarket offering to wash people’s cars in return for a donation.
A steady stream of customers ensured the crew easily beat last year’s total of £462.
The bulk will go to the firefighters charity, with £100 donation to Tesco’s cause of the year – Diabetes UK.
