TWO members of Seaton and Beer St John Ambulance have received top awards for helping a collapsed runner.

Stefan Miller and Linda Long were presented with Commander’s Commendations in recognition of their “professionalism, calmness and standard of First Aid skills” when dealing with a seriously ill casualty at this year’s Grizzly run.

The duo received their awards at their recent annual inspection from Antonette Williams, principal youth officer for Devon, and Kim Parker, the area staff officer.
