A FISHERMAN was rescued today by the Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat crew after he fell into the harbour.

Pete Ward, 58, slipped as he stepped out of his dinghy to board fishing boat Pegasus.
Harbourmaster Grahame Forshaw called the coastguard after another fisherman alerted him at around 10am.
Mr Ward, who was brought safely ashore and did not need treatment, said: "I simply lost my footing. The lifeboat crew were with me very quickly and I am very grateful for their help.
