Twenty-four saints will be commemorated at the annual flower festival at Kilmington next month.

The theme for the event was agreed when arrangers from Axminster, Dalwood, Shute, Stockland, Yarcombe and Kilmington assembled in St Giles’ Church.

The festival, which takes place from Friday, June 3, to Sunday, June 5, is being held in conjunction with an arts, craft and photographic exhibition in the village hall for which there will be a preview evening on Thursday, June 2, at 7pm. It will be a busy weekend in Kilmington with a concert by the Lyme Regis Shanty Singers in the church, on Saturday, June 4, at 7pm and a flower festival evensong on the Sunday, at 6pm.
