Presence of Midweek Herald reporter has made a difference.
THE footfall at Honiton Tourist Information Centre was up by 120 visitors during January, business leaders have been informed.
Colin Wright, chairman of the centre’s board of trustees, said the increase was compared to visitor numbers during the same period last year.
He believed the presence of the Midweek Herald’s reporting team in the centre on Wednesdays and Thursdays had been a significant factor in the increase.
Mr Wright was speaking at the February meeting of Honiton and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
