David Usher, former head gardener at Hestercombe, is guest speaker at the next meeting of Uplyme and Lyme Regis Horticultural Society in the village hall, at 7.30pm, on Wednesday, March 22.
He will talk about the project to restore the famous gardens, from the Gertrude Jekyll walled garden to the wilder landscape behind the house. Entry is free for members, £3 for non-members.
