A ROYAL Navy recruit from Colyton has been awarded the top prize for physical endeavour during her basic training.Logistician Amy Trakow, 23, has been awarded the Taylor Trophy, because of her hard work and determination.She has now completed nine weeks of intensive training. The former Woodroffe School student said: "Joining the Royal Navy has been a long-term ambition of mine because of the travel, sport and constant team work opportunities. It has been a very challenging nine weeks."I've particularly enjoyed the weapons training, orienteering on Dartmoor and the obstacle and assault courses. I've made some good friends along the way.
