Casualty taken to hospital.

A female was taken to hospital after a four vehicle collision in Honiton.

Firefighters from the town were called to the incident in High Street at around 3.22pm today (Wednesday) and rescued the female who was trapped within a vehicle.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival crews confirmed one female casualty was trapped within a vehicle. Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools to extricate the casualty into the care of the ambulance service. The casualty was then conveyed to hospital via land ambulance.”
