PARENTS in Honiton are being given a chance to gain new skills to help them provide nutritious meals for their families.St Paul's Church Toddler Group is hosting two cookery demonstrations in partnership with Healthy and Local Food for Families (HALFF), a charity that works with parents to equip them with new skills. Demonstrations, which offer mums, dads or carers of young families hands-on cooking opportunities, provide healthy eating information, tips on how to overcome problems, recipes, a free lunch and much more.Claire Nuttall, of St Paul's Toddler Group, is attempting to source funding to continue the demonstra-tions from September to July next year. Initial demonstrations will take place at the church on Thursday, May 21, and Thursday, July 2, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
