A free six week wellbeing course is being launched this month
A free wellbeing course is being run at Seaton Library over the coming weeks.
The programme of six two-hour Friday morning sessions is aimed at people over 50. They begin at 10.30am this week (August 17).
On offer is an interactive, solution-focused approach addressing a wide variety of topics including diet and fitness, relationships, sleep, social networks and thought processes that affect our health and wellbeing as we get older.
During the programme, participants will be given an opportunity to reflect on their own experience of coping with challenges in their life and will be given tools and techniques to build their resilience for what lies ahead.
