Fuel tanker blaze at Wilmington

Two fire crews from Honiton called to the scene

Firefighters from Honiton were called to the East Devon Business Centre, Wilmington, this morning (Tuesday, January 3), after reports that smoke was coming from a fuel tanker.

Upon arrival crews found a small fire within the engine compartment of the lorry.

They set to work using two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and small tools to extinguish the fire.
