POLICE are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole more than 1,000 litres of fuel from Lorries in Honiton.
Between 5pm on Saturday, March 14 and 7am on Monday, March 17, 1,075 litres of fuel was siphoned from lorry fuel tanks in Heathpark Commercials yard.
Police say they believe a van was backed up to the rear fence of the yard and the fuel was passed over in cans.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity is urged to contact Honiton Police on 08452 777444 quoting crime reference number KN/09/262.
