Fundraising is still continuing to help pay for the new Hospiscare Kings House Day Hospice in Honiton.

Two local organisations recently presented cheques and toured the building in King Street.

The East Devon Hunt Ball raised £500 and specially chose Hospiscare as they wanted to support a local charity.

Kirstie Rhodes, from Tranquil Rose Therapies in Ottery St Mary, raised £496 in 12 months from donations from her clients; again, they wanted to support a local charity and clients suggested Hospiscare.

They all had a tour around Kings House and were really impressed and delighted to know how their contributions will help provide care for local people.
