Garage burglaries spark police warning

Residents in Dunkeswell urged to report any suspicious activity.

Police in Honiton are urging members of the public to report any suspicious activity following a number of garage burglaries in Dunkeswell.

PC Clive Vickery said: “Over the last few weeks there have a number of garage burglaries on the Highfield Estate at Dunkeswell.

“Numerous items have been stolen including two motor bikes, sets of golf clubs and garden and power tools.”

The incidents have all occurred overnight.

He added: “Honiton Police are asking for residents to be vigilant by reporting any suspicions activities and making sure any security measures are working and up to date.”

Anyone with information relating to any of these incidents is urged to contact the Honiton Neighbourhood Policing Team by calling 101 or anonymous information can be left with Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
