Police are appealing for information after wooden garages were broken into in Honiton.

The burglary happened on Thursday, August 28, and a red Ultralite 350/355 mobility was taken from one the garages, which are just off Clapper Lane.

A police spokesman said: “It is believed that this occurred before police received reports that the garages were all seen to have been opened that morning. The scooter is said to be able to fold up and would fit into the boot of a car.”

Investigations are under way. Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101 and quote crime reference CR/102231/14
