POLICE in Honiton are investigating the theft of garden machinery from outbuildings at Awliscombe.

POLICE in Honiton are investigating the theft of garden machinery from outbuildings at Awliscombe. Three outbuildings were forced open in the village overnight on July 2. Officers investigating the burglary say the buildings all belonged to a "rural house". Among the items stolen were a compressor, a lawnmower, hedgecutter and a chainsaw. Anybody with information about the burglary is urged to call police on 908452) 777444, quoting crime number KH/08/656.
