Three out to take the seat from Conservative Neil Parish.

Candidates for the Tiverton and Honiton seat in next month’s General Election have been confirmed.

Among those set to take on Conservative Neil Parish, who has represented the seat since 2012, is outgoing Honiton mayor and Labour candidate Caroline Kolek, who finished third in the 2015 vote.

Also in the running are Liberal Democrat Matthew Wilson and Green Party’s Gill Westcott.

The acting returning officer for East Devon has today confirmed the list of candidates, with the deadline for nominations passed.

The election will take place on June 8.
