The event was put on as a thank you to all who applied to be featured on AG Signs’ festive garage door scene, which was created at the end of last year.

Youngsters were delighted and amazed at a magic show put on by George Blake, of Honiton-based company AG Signs.

The magic show, at Honiton Scout Hall, was a thank you to everyone who applied to be a part of the company’s festive advent garage.

AG Signs has reached national recognition for its prints on a garage door in Dowell Street, in tribute of events and holidays.

This year, 24 children’s faces were used to create a colourful festive scene, but more than 70 youngsters applied to feature in the picture.

George Blake, who is also a children’s entertainer, said: “The magic show was a thank you to everyone for taking part.

“We can only get 24 people on the door, but over 70 applied to be on it. I thought it would be nice to put on a show.

“We had a very good turnout and, as far as I know, everyone enjoyed themselves.”
