Tickets for the event, which takes place at the Old Honiton Agricultural Showgrounds, Langford Road, have been in great demand.

The festival is being organised by the Honiton Foundation and is raising money for charity Devon Freewheelers and other local causes.

There will be music from headliners The Wurzels, Sweet Black Angels, Diamondogz, Fools and Horses, Diamondogz, 4 King Dwarphz, and others. There will be plenty of local food and drink to tantalise the taste buds.

Don’t miss members of FSC Exeter Honiton Muay Thai who will be attempting to set the record for the most Muay Thai clinch knee kicks in an hour. Coach and club owner Sonny Perez will also be looking to set his own record for the most clinch knee kicks completed in an hour by one person.

The festival will also feature a fun fair, a birds of prey static display, face painting and a display of vehicles courtesy of Honiton Hill Rally and much more.

Honiton town crier will be joined by fellow criers to take part in a special competition during the festival. The first round will take place outside St Paul’s Church at 10.30am. The second and deciding round will be held on the main stage.

A shuttle minibus service will be running throughout the day, courtesy of Kevin Crudge of Stamps Coaches, picking up at the bus stop outside Lace Walk. Donations of £1.

The festival has also been trending on Twitter this week with people posting their own cider selfies #ciderselfie.
