The Burghers of Seaton are voicing their objection to the proposed building of homes at Harepath Hill, with added voices of adjacent home-owners.That 40 per cent or more would be affordable homes, they choose to ignore. In the meantime, these same people have seen fit, with their almost hysterical objections, to call a halt to the Tesco plans and proposals which would include many houses. At last, the people of Seaton who are without homes, have begun to realise a poisoned chalice is being sipped which will destroy their hopes.I hope many local councillors will put aside their political persuasion and get to grips with the situation.PETER DRAPERSeaton
