SEATON Tramway is kicking off its 40th birthday celebration with a 'wet and wild' weekend, starting this Saturday, February 13.
Visitors can take the tram from Seaton along the edge of the Axe estuary free of charge - for 'Nature at Sundown.' An experienced guide will be on hand and the tram will travel as the light is closing in.
The event is organised by Ambios Ltd, a not-for-profit company. For more information call 07915 488 374 or visit www.natureatsundown.com
There will also be a number of 'drop-in' activities until Monday, February 15. Events at the Seaton Marshes Local Nature Reserve include birds from the hide at Colyford Common, and Beasties of the estuary. Fore more information, contact Countryside Service Events on 07814477422.
