GITTISHAM woman Andie Stansell will be running in the London Marathon on Sunday for Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Cancer Research UK. She has been in "intense" training for four months, which have led to some tears along the way but the thought of raising money for the charities has inspired her to carry on. She said: "They are two charities that I support wholeheartedly. I started running three-and-a-half years ago, and have completed various half marathons. "However, being knock-kneed and flat-footed, as well asthmatic means I am not designed to run - especially 26.2 miles!" Donations can be given through Andie's air ambulance justgiving site at www.justgiving.com/andiestansellsmarathon, which also has a link to her cancer research page.
