Stockland and Yarcombe Pre-school offers a curriculum that is relevant and based on each child’s own preferences.

AN East Devon Pre-school, which has been judged ‘good’ by Ofsted inspectors, is to hold an open evening to demonstrate to parents how it prepares children for primary school.

Stockland and Yarcombe Pre-school, which also accommodates toddlers on Tuesdays and Fridays to give the youngsters an early start in education, encourages children to become independent learners by offering a curriculum that is relevant and based on each child’s own preferences.

The pre-school works closely with Stockland Church of England Primary School, where staff are full of praise for the playgroup.

Parents are invited to attend the open evening, which will take place in the pre-school’s purpose-built unit at Stockland Victory Hall from 7pm on September 16.
