Position safeguarded for another three years.

A grant to St Paul’s Church in Honiton has ensured its work with young people in the community will continue - by safeguarding the role of its children’s worker.

The church received a grant as part of the Millions for Mission Fund from Exeter Diocese to go towards the church’s children’s worker, which guarantees her position for another three years.

St Paul’s Church has had its current children’s worker for 18-months. She has been working closely with Honiton and Littletown Primary Schools with organising their own wedding ceremonies - complete with confetti and marriage certificates.

The church’s annual holiday club has also doubled in size and its Saints and Sausages venture has proved popular.

A nativity fun day is being planned for December 21, from 10am until 3pm, in the Mackarness Hall.
