But the first thing you will notice is the quality of service. From the moment you walk through the door of the High Street restaurant and take-away, you can be guaranteed a warm, professional welcome from the Rahman family.

My daughter, Fern, and I were guests of the Rahmans last Thursday evening - and were treated like visiting royals from the outset.

We enjoyed king prawn butterflies for starters, along with poppadoms and a range of delicious dips.

Our main courses looked as good as they tasted, teasing the taste buds with rich colours and wonderful smells.

I enjoyed a chicken Korma and my daughter happily tucked in to chicken tikka masala - both superbly prepared.

Deliveries take place from 6pm to 10pm seven nights a week, around Honiton and within a five-mile radius including Ottery St Mary.

There is currently a 20 per cent discount on food collected from Taste of Bengal's take-away.
