Traffic stuck in queues for up to 45 minutes at roadworks site.
This was the scene on the old A30 near Clyst Honiton today as roadworks caused chaos for motorists.
There were reports of a 45-minute wait at around lunchtime as lorries and articulated vehicles became gridlocked in a massive jam.
Essential work is being carried out to facilitate Cranbrook, including the construction of Clyst Honiton by-pass.
