Grizzly raises whopping £28k for good causes

AXE Valley Runners have given 30 local organisations money totalling £28,000.

AXE Valley Runners have given 30 local organisations money totalling £28,000. The money, raised from the Grizzly, was donated to various groups and charities at a presentation at the Eyre Court Hotel on Friday, April 3.The main donation of £15,000 went to the Reece Strawbridge Youth Centre, in Colyton. Organisations who assisted with marshalling and at water stations benefitted, including the police, Raynet, St John Ambulance, Beer Coastguard, Seaton Fire and Rescue Service and Amnesty International.
