Grizzly runners' £1,000 gift

TWO Seaton men proudly came last in the Grizzly run raising £1,000 for charity.

TWO Seaton men proudly came last in the Grizzly run - raising £1,000 for charity.Dave Bultin, of the The Kettle restaurant and tea room, and Paul Davenport, from Eyre Court hotel, donated the money to the Macmillian cancer charity and the Cherry Orchard breast cancer ward.Dave said they both came in last and had 90 year-olds overtake them - whilst giving words of encouragement.He said: "We raised money for good causes and had fun. For the little pain we went through, it will help people who have cancer so it was worth it."It was a really enjoyable day. But I wouldn't do it again."Paul said: "I'm happy we completed the course - it's for charity and I'd do it again. "But I'll do some training next time.
