Owner appeals for silver timepiece to be handed to police.

A Gucci watch has been lost in Honiton town centre after it fell off its owner’s wrist.

The designer timepiece was lost somewhere between the library, in New Street, and Lace Walk car park on Friday, November 9.

Enquiries have, so far, failed to find the watch.

Its owner, who was given it by bosses in recognition of 10 years’ service, is desperate to be reunited with it.

She told the Herald: “We contacted the police and all the places we had been, but to no avail.”

The silver watch has a screw missing and had been repaired with thick red thread.

Anybody finding the watch is urged to take it to Honiton Police Station.
