Police appeal for information after thief targets parked vehicle in Lyme Regis

Police are hunting a thief who stole a handbag from an insecure car parked in Anning Road, at Lyme Regis, yesterday (Wednesday).

The villain struck at between 9am and 9.30am and is believed to have made off towards Charmouth Road.

The handbag contained a large bunch of keys and a lilac LG mobile phone.

If anybody has any information or saw anybody acting suspiciously at the Charmouth Road end of Anning Road, they are asked to

contact Lyme Regis Police on 101 or 07500 816312.
