The chain of office was handed over by outgoing president Ian Barradale to Jim Partridge-Hogbin as members gathered at Winston’s in Harbour Road.

Seaton and District Lions Club has a new face at its helm, following a special presidential handover dinner.

The chain of office was handed over by outgoing president Ian Barradale to Jim Partridge-Hogbin as members gathered at Winston’s in Harbour Road.

During the celebration, the Lion of the Year shield was presented to Fred Paulley for the second year running. He was awarded the prize for his outstanding service to the club during the previous 12 months.

Outgoing president Mr Barradale thanked members for their contribution.

Mr Partridge-Hogbin said he was looking forward to the year ahead and hoping to add to the club’s strong membership.
