St Mary’s Catholic School wins inter-schools reading challenge
St Mary’s Catholic Primary school in Axminster have won the inter-schools reading challenge organised by the town’s library.
The competition as organised as part of the Libraries Summer Reading Challenge, held in libraries across the country. For the second year running more than 40 children completed the challenge which involved reading six books over the summer holidays.
“It is wonderful to see that so many children are motivated to choose reading as a fun activity at home,” said a library spokeswoman.
