Colyton Grammar School students sport a variety of colourful headgear in aid of the Brain Tumour Research Charity
Students and staff at Colyton Grammar School wore colourful hats to raise money for the Brain Tumour Research Charity.
They sported a wide variety of creative headgear – from sombreros to fezzes - in return for making a donation to the Buckinghamshire-based charity.
‘Wear a hat day’ is an annual, nationwide event aiming to raise £1 million to build a new sustainable long-term research centre.
Year 12 student Miranda Sandy, who co-ordinated the event at Colyton, said: “I’m really pleased with the amount of people who have worn hats for such a great cause, everyone looked amazing and we managed to raise £424.”
