CCTV footage has been released by police of a man they belive can assist with their inquiries following an incident where residents in the town received ‘racist’ leaflets.

Police in Honiton have released CCTV footage of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries after residents in the town received ‘racist’ leaflets.

The leaflets, which are described as being of a “racist and zenophobic nature”, were hand-delivered through residents’ doors in New Street on Wednesday, August 8.

They are believed to be from the “Devon Patriot”.

The man is described as white, in his 60s, around 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build. He is bald, with grey hair to the sides and was wearing a dark-coloured, V-necked jumper, with a light coloured shirt and dark tie underneath.

Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting crime reference KH/12/597.
