Health summit to be held in Honiton.

Honiton residents are being given the opportunity to have a say in how its health services can be designed and planned for the future.

A health summit is being held at Honiton Community College, on Tuesday, July 16.

The summit, which starts at 7pm, allows the Honiton community to express their views on thoughts on future contracts for the town’s health services.

From October 2015, the contract with Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust to provide community services such as Honiton Hospital, district nursing, and community physiotherapy, is due for renewal.

By the end of the year, it should be decided exactly which services are wanted to be provided in the future, and in the manner of which they are run.

To book your place at the summit email jemma.moore@nhs.net or call 01392 356094.
