Residents invited to discuss local plan for town.
Residents are urged to take part in a public meeting to discuss the future of Honiton.
An open session will be held at the town council’s New Street offices, on Monday (January 9), at 7pm, to discuss the town council’s submission to East Devon District Council’s local plan.
The first hour of the town council’s meeting has been set aside for a discussion on East Devon’s planning blueprint for up to 2026.
The District Council’s main proposals for Honiton are focused on moderate economic development and limited housing growth with 450 new homes and 15 hectares of employment land west of Heathpark planned.
