HELEN Martinez, formerly of Honiton Motel, has asked the Herald to point out that she left the business as a director in March.Her father continued to run the business, as a leaseholder, until it closed.Mrs Martinez denies the motel was closed on Sunday, May 4, and says the business did not shut until the day after.She said refunds were being sent to those who paid deposits for future events at the Turk's Head venue.The site is owned by the Harris family.
