Birds of prey demonstration at Uplyme nets 300 for the RNLI

OWLS and kestrels have helped to raise 300 for the RNLI in Lyme Regis.

The high-flying hunters from the Hawkridge Birds of Prey Centre, Exmouth, appeared before a capacity audience at Uplyme Village Hall for a special event during Lifeboat Week.

And on Friday Gillian Wells, of the Uplyme and Lyme Regis Horticultural Society, presented a cheque from the profits to lifeboat crew member John Cable.
