Another closed outlet in Honiton town centre.
MYSTERY surrounds the sudden closure of a High Street shop in Honiton.
Hiho, which sells jewellery and aluminium houseware products, including picture frames, candlesticks and vases, displayed a notice in its window last week stating it would be closed until further notice.
The shop is part of a chain which has a number of stores across the South West and was established in 1995 - opening a first outlet in Lyme Regis in 1999, which was followed by the opening of a store in Honiton. Hiho specialises in various silver jewellery designs made in Mexico.
The Midweek Herald contacted the company twice yesterday (Monday) and again today (Tuesday) but, as the newspaper went to press, nobody from Hiho had responded to our email and telephone enquiries.
