A FORMER Hollyoaks star will be coaching youngsters during a summer school at Colyton Grammar School.Helen Noble, Abby Davies in the Channel 4 series, will be passing on her acting skills to students during a five week course starting on Monday, July 4.Forty-five lucky students will have the chance to learn from Helen and other tutors and get a chance to appear in a Back to Broadway stage show when it comes to Sidmouth's Manor Pavilion in November.Helen, who joined Hollyoaks as a 17-year-old, has played leads in pantomimes at Plymouth and Manchester. She has also been the lead singer with a Northern big band and now runs a year-round theatre school in Liverpool.She said: "I'm looking forward to returning to Devon and teaching at the summer school. Back to Broadway has the UK license for High School Musical and it's going to be great working with the kids on the show."All proceeds from the show held at the end of the summer school week will be donated to Children's Hospice South West.Students will get to perform alongside Helen, Graham Tudor (who recently starred as Eddie in Mamma Mia in London's West End and Joseph in the UK tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat), Jessica Ball (Maria, in West Side Story) and James Wolstenholme, she show's musical director who starred in the Rainbow Live tour 2008.For further information, contact Sue Bearcroft on (01297) 553602 or e-mail enquiries@backtobroadway.co.uk or via the Back to Broadway website www.backtobroadway.co.uk
