Notice to quit premises was given at the end of last summer.
Following the recent closure of Dunkeswell Memorial Museum, the Midweek Herald has been asked to point out that the museum was not given just two weeks’ notice to quit its Flightway Industrial Estate premises.
The owner of the business unit has told the Midweek Herald that notice to be out of the building by last December was given at the end of the summer.
However, the premises were not vacated until earlier this month.
The owner said: “The only reason they were asked to leave was because of substantial rent arrears.”
