More housing will be built whether we like it or not, if we are to meet the government guidelines, so why not get something we want out of it?
The council should, I hope, be savvy enough to get the road built first and 'fill in' the land the new by-pass leaves with the proposed new houses, a park, play areas etc towards the town.
I agree, we need a vastly improved infrastructure for Honiton which is, to be fair, still struggling with no real change since the 1980s.
This should all be taken into consideration and put to the people of Honiton before any planning is granted.
