The summer floral display, which consists of flower baskets on lampposts and planters on the pedestrian island, have been prepared by Jackson Plants, of Combe Raleigh.

They have been installed by Honiton Town Council’s contractor, Mr Justin Selway.

The display is in response to comments from the community last year when residents told the town council that they wanted more planting and colour in the town.

Cllr Graham Smith, chairman of the town’s floral display working group, said: “We would like to thank Jackson Plants and Justin Selway for their support and help with the display.

“I hope that this is just the start and that we can move on to enhance the town in other ways.”
