SARAH Dent, the locality manager at Ottery and Honiton hospitals, has been recognised for her outstanding work.
She won the health and social care delivery award, presented during NHS Devon's annual meeting.
Clive Robertson, chair of NHS Devon's provider services committee, said: "Sarah is an amazing manager - always willing to help and she goes the extra mile to ensure all the services within the hospital are working well.
"Sarah supports all her colleagues and anyone can go to her with a problem.
"She wants Ottery St Mary and Honiton to give the best possible service to the people living in the area."
The health and social care delivery award is for a staff member who deserves extra recognition for the job they have done.
