A Honiton-based web enterprise is asking the public to decide which charity it supports in 2017.

Cosmic has compiled a shortlist after receiving a total of 86 nominations from charities who applied.

The charities are:

• Exeter Leukaemia Fund

• Devon Freewheelers

• Devon Air Ambulance

• Dartmoor Search and Rescue

• Pete’s Dragons

• Friends of Buburi

The public can vote by tweeting Cosmic their choice, or commenting on the company’s ‘charity of the year’ Facebook posts.

Voting closes on Friday, December 16, with the winner set to be announced on Monday, December 19.

A spokesman for Cosmic said: “This is a great chance to find out more about each of these local charities and to give them the gift of free digital support for a year.”
