Youngsters from Honiton’s Leonard Beavers have begun planting seeds to find out which ones have been in space.
The seeds were sent as part of Rocket Science, an educational project launched by the RHS Campaign for School Gardening and the UK Space Agency.
The children are now growing the seeds from space alongside seeds that have not left Earth’s atmosphere and measuring the differences. Scout leader Helen Turner said the group is working hard to find out which seeds were sent into space.
