ENTERPRISE Inns, which owns The Carlton Inn and Top Bar in Honiton, has told the Herald it is "considering the future" of the business.
After a succession of leaseholders, the business could be sold.
A spokeswoman for Enterprise Inns said: "We are considering the future of The Carlton Inn.
"However, there is no truth in rumours that J D Wetherspoon is interested in the pub.
