Boogie Bass Bugs become first non-Somerset entry to lift The Tesco Cup at Taunton Carnival since 1981.

HONITON’S Boogie Bass Bugs have lifted The Tesco Cup at Taunton Carnival having taken first prize in the walking group class.

The win means the Bugs have become the first non-Somerset outfit to lift the trophy since its was introduced, in 1981.

On Saturday, they were up against Xtreme CC, of Ilminster, and Motiv8, of Crewkerne and Yeovil, as well as Domino CC, of Chard.

The Bugs would like to thank Dorset Auto Spares, of King Street, Honiton, and Best of Honiton for their valued support.
