Raggs has been with the Honiton branch of Cats Protection for some time, and has not found any luck with getting a forever home.

A down-on-his-luck cat has been given a fresh shot at being adopted - by becoming the star in his very own movie trailer.

Raggs has been with the Honiton branch of Cats Protection for some time, and has not found any luck with getting a forever home.

Bob Carter, co-ordinator of the Honiton branch of Cats Protection, said: “We think no one was interested because Raggs didn’t take the best picture. His fosterer decided to show how lovely he was with a bit of video footage and this led to him starring in his own movie trailer.

“It highlights how friendly he is and we hope that someone will like the trailer enough to come and see the real thing.”

Raggs’ fosterer Heidi added: “We feel sure that anyone meeting Raggs will fall in love, but the problem has been how to get them to come in the first place. I’m really hoping that this will do the trick and his story will have a happy ending.”
