Police are investigating an act of vandalism which was made to changing rooms in Honiton.

Police say that graffiti was sprayed on to the building in Allhallows Playing Field between Thursday, February 4, and Tuesday, February 9.

PCSO Steve Mingo, of Honiton’s neighbourhood beat team, said: “The damage consisted of a graffiti tag added to the changing room doors.

“East Devon District Council has had to put this right, which has cost money for repairs that could have been avoided.

“We are asking anybody who recognises who the graffiti ‘tags’ belong to in the photographs to get in touch with us via 101, quoting crime reference CR/9405/16.”

Mr Mingo is also appealing for information after the back of Honiton Leisure Centre was hit with a graffiti tag.

Anyone who knows anything about it is urged to call police on 101.
